Wind:Light Temp. ºC:5 to 20º (Winter), 10 to 30º (Summer) Winter – Summer “Towards the lost traces of the Inca” is a two-day excursion that invites you to explore the natural landscapes of the Altos de Cantillana Reserve and marvel at the oak forest, the panoramic views towards the Aculeo Lagoon, and the Andes Mountains. But above all, it’s an adventure to get to know the history of our ancestors and the mysteries that the area holds. At an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters, we will arrive at a ravine irrigated by large amounts of water known as “Las Canchas.” 20 minutes from here, we’ll find a pleasant place bordering the ravine where we’ll break for the first lunch of the trek. From the Horcón de Piedra (“Stone Pitchfork”) there will be picturesque views towards the Piche sector and the Aculeo Lagoon sector. This place has a beautiful camping area under a dense forest of oaks; it’s an excellent place to rest and enjoy a magical evening in nature. On the third day, we will return to Las Canchas, where you can rest, enjoy a delicious lunch, explore the area surrounding the ravine, or bathe in the natural stone pools shaped by the constant erosion of water, before descending to the Aculeo Valley.
